DH Signature (formerly DH Boutique Cigars) is the cigar house founded by Didier Houvenaghel: agronomist trained in Pinar del Río (Cuba), author of The Cigar, from Soil to Soul, and World Cigar Ambassador 2022 (Cigar Journal).
Since the birth of Nicarao in Nicaragua in 2001, and through a long-standing partnership with A.J. Fernández begun in 2005, the house has composed its cigars around one conviction: time is the most precious ingredient. Leaves are selected for their origin, fermented and aged for years, and every cigar is released only when it is ready.
Four signatures, one house. Nicarao, puros de Nicaragua, is rooted in the terroirs of Estelí and Jalapa. La Ley is a tribute to finesse shaped by ageing. La Preferida expresses elegance and subtle strength. Furia holds strength in balance. The Reserva editions and the Furia Inanna series carry the house's deepest work on maturation. Our cigars are distributed in 35 countries, with partners who share these values.
In 2026 the house received the Cigar Trophy for Sustainability, for its move to boxes of ten in recycled cardboard, recycled papers and mineral and vegetal inks.
We do not claim we do the best, we do our best.
