Since its first tobacco event in 1973, Quartz Business Media (QBM) has organised industry exhibitions and conferences in Munich, Jakarta, Bali, Macau, Kunming, Hong Kong, Prague, Moscow, Vienna, Amsterdam, Geneva, Nice and The Hague, among other leading locations. Today, the company is best known for its flagship WT Middle East, WT Europe and WT Asia events, held in the tobacco-friendly cities of Dubai, Sofia and Surabaya.
Always evolving alongside industry developments and consumer preferences, QBM now also runs events for the shisha and vaping segments. The World Shisha Show launched in Dubai to huge success, and the award-winning World Vape Show in Dubai is now the fastest-growing vape show in the world.

Since the first tobacco event in 1973, the team behind World Tobacco Shows has largely stayed the same, helping steer the industry through every twist and turn along the way. We're proud to hold the accolade of longest-running exhibition organiser in the tobacco industry, and as our portfolio grows, we look forward to adapting and innovating alongside it.
World Tobacco Middle East 2021 stands out. As one of the first tobacco trade events to run since COVID-19, we were blown away by how many people were willing to travel to Dubai for it, welcoming thousands of visitors from 62 countries. In the years that followed, the business expanded into Asia and recently launched a dedicated Cigar Show. We're now proud to be recognised as the biggest B2B tobacco event in the world.
Our locations are well established today, but they were chosen carefully. Host governments needed to be supportive of the tobacco industry, and local markets needed a broad enough base to attract quality visitors.
Our current locations remain popular and productive, so for the foreseeable future we'll continue with our existing programme, while keeping a close eye on shifts in market growth and regulatory change. Right now, we're exploring invitations to host an event in Kenya, opening a new platform for the industry in the region. Watch this space.
Vape is an exciting, fast-growing industry. Alongside our World Tobacco portfolio, we also organise the World Vape Show, with editions already running and more in development.
