Voedsel Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd is a Zimbabwean wholly indigenous company. The company
made its inroads into tobacco merchanting in 2008. It is licensed with The Tobacco Industry
and Marketing Board (TIMB) as a Class “A” buyer, and the license permit the company to
buy tobacco in Zimbabwe for export. The company contracts more that 20 000 smallholder
farmers who grow tobacco under its contract programme. Voedsel recently commissioned
a state-of-the-art tobacco processing facility.
The company also has operations in Tanzania where it specializes in Tanzanian Flue cured tobacco in the area of Tabora and Morogoro. The company has more than five association that supplies it with tobacco.
Styles
Within the annual purchases there is a wide range of different styles, from lower stalk positions to full-bodied leaf, enabling us to supply our valued customers with all their FCV requirements.
