As a Manager with Andersen in the UAE, he plays a key role in managing the firm’s excise tax practice, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients, particularly within the tobacco, beverage, and duty-free sectors.
At Andersen UAE, widely recognized as a leading excise tax advisor in the UAE, Rishi works with a team of 35+ professionals, assisting clients with complex excise tax matters. He is deeply involved in managing excise litigation, leading ongoing compliance and advisory engagements across key jurisdictions in the UAE.
In 2025, Rishi was fortunate to be nominated by the ITR World Tax Awards as a “Tax Disputes Advisory Rising Star”, a recognition that reflects his growing impact and credibility in the field of tax controversy and litigation in the UAE.
He is currently a Manager with Andersen in the UAE, where he assists with managing the indirect tax practice of the firm with a team of 35+ professionals, encompassing various engagements related to tax compliance, audit proceedings &litigation for UAE VAT, Customs & Excise Tax.
